Description:
Raw PE can be obtained in form of a milky white, partly crystalline powder by polymerisation of ethylene (high-pressure, mid-pressure and normal-pressure method). It is insoluble in all types of solvents, partly crystallisable and highly inflammable.
Usage:

cable sheaths, packagings, plastic films (low density PE = LDPE); pipelines, buckets, canisters, boxes, tons, tanks and barrels (high density PE = HDPE)
