Who are we?

Mecadi GmbH is an independent, neutral company and was founded in 2001 by Dr. Andreas Konrad and Sabine Konrad. The name Mecadi was derived from the words Membranes (Me) and Carbon (ca) Dioxide (di). Mecadi’s core competencies are services in the field of permeation and the development and manufacture of special polymer materials (membranes) that allow certain substances to pass through but act as a barrier for others. Mecadi can look back on a customer base that spans almost all industrial sectors. Examples include the automotive industry, packaging industry, chemical industry, pump manufacturers, plastics processing industry and medical technology industry.
