Description:
Amorphous, transparent, amber-colored high-performance thermoplatic with a cyclic structure, containing aromatic diethers, dianhydrides and aromatic diamines. Compared to PEEK, it is less temperature-resistant and has a minor impact-strength, but it is also cheaper. When in contact with chlorinated solvents, PEI has a tendency towards forming stress cracks.
