Silicone-Rubber (MQ, PMQ, PVMQ, VMQ)

Silicone-Rubber (MQ, PMQ, PVMQ, VMQ)Description:

Polysiloxane is a normally odorless and non-toxic material that is stable within a wide range of temperature. It features good resistance to sunlight, ozone and fungal decay but also has a poor tensile strength and resistance to abrasion as well as a weak resistance to different oils. MQ = Methyl-Polysiloxane; VMQ = Vinyl-Methyl-Polysiloxane; PMQ = Phenyl-Methyl-Polysiloxane; PVMQ = Phenyl-Vinyl-Methyl-Polisiloxane

Usage:

Silicone rubbers can be used for a variety of Anwendung, covering general purposes (VMQ) as well as particularlow-temperature-Anwendung (PVMQ, PMQ). PDMS (= MQ) also is only applied in some specific sectors.
