FEP is a thermoplastic copolymer, which is characterized by a lowered tensile strength and a very clogged surface. However it shows a good resistance to atmospheric corrosion. It is resistant to chemicals and heat. The service temperatures lies between \u2013200\u00b0C and 200\u00b0C. Due to his excellent thermal and electrical properties this copolymer is utilised in heating cables and heating tapes. Thermoplastic of milky white color that feels like wax. Because of its special properties, this material has an unique position compared to other thermoplastics.
