They differentiate one to each other by the presence of hydrogen atoms within the polymer-chain. In the perfluorinated elastomers (FFKM) there are no hydrogen atoms present, whereas in the fluoroelastomers there are, in addition to the fluorine atoms, also hydrogen atoms.
