Somit enth\u00e4lt das Polymer Schwefelbr\u00fccken zwischen den einzelnen Benzolkernen, wobei die sehr stabilen Bindungen innerhalb der Struktur des Makromolek\u00fcls dem Material eine bemerkenswerte Best\u00e4ndigkeit sowohl gegen\u00fcber thermischer Zersetzung als auch gegen\u00fcber chemischen Reaktionen verleihen. Bei verzweigten Typen kann durch thermische Nachbehandlung eine duroplastische Struktur erzielt werden.
