Polyisobutylen l\u00f6st sich in unpolaren organischen L\u00f6sungsmitteln, ist dagegen unl\u00f6slich in polaren L\u00f6sungsmitteln und zudem sehr best\u00e4ndig gegen S\u00e4uren, Laugen, \u00d6le, Ozon und Witterungseinwirkungen.
