PV-Acetat ist unl\u00f6slich in Wasser, jedoch gut l\u00f6slich in Ketonen, Estern, Ethern, aromatischen und chlorierten Kohlenwasserstoffen. Es liegt in reiner Form als farblose Perlen oder als Emulsion vor. Aufgrund seiner niedrigen Erweichungstemperatur ist es nicht zur Herstellung von Formteilen geeignet, jedoch gut vertr\u00e4glich mit Weichmachern und haftet als Film sehr gut auf den unterschiedlichsten Untergr\u00fcnden.
