Dieses teilweise fluorierte semikristalline Fluorcoplymer bietet eine einzigartige Kombination zwischen mechanischen Eigenschaften, chemischer und thermischer Resistenz (Entz\u00fcndungspunkt bei 655\u00b0C) und einer leichten Verarbeitbarkeit. Aufgrund seiner Vielf\u00e4ltigkeit ist es in nahezu allen Formen herstellbar. Die einfache Verarbeitbarkeit und seine elektrischen Eigenschaften haben ECTFE zu einer idealen L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr Kabelisolationen gemacht.
