PVDF zeichnet sich durch eine au\u00dferordentliche Best\u00e4ndigkeit in chemischer wie thermischer Hinsicht aus (z.B. keine Verspr\u00f6dung in siedendem Helium bei &#8211; 269\u00b0C). Die thermische Belastbarkeit von PTFE reicht von &#8211; 260\u00b0C bis +300\u00b0C.
