Die Betriebstemperatur liegt zwischen -20\u00b0C und +204\u00b0C (-15\u00b0F und +400\u00b0F), kurzzeitig auch h\u00f6her. Im Unterschied zu den FFKMs sind in den FKMs Wasserstoffatome in der Polymerkette eingebunden. Man kann die Fluorelastomere in Abh\u00e4ngigkeit ihrer Eigenschaften in weitere Kategorien unterteilen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copolymere<\/li>\n<li>Terpolymere<\/li>\n<li>Niedrigtemperatur-Elastomere<\/li>\n<li>basenresistente Elastomere<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fluorelastomer Copolymere bestehen gew\u00f6hnlich aus Vinylidenfluorid (VDF) und Hexafluorpropylen (HFP), sie enthalten einen typischen Fluoranteil von 65-66Gew% und sind die am meisten verwendeten FKMs. In den Fuorelastomer Terpolymeren kommt neben den Bestandteilen VDF und HFP noch Tetrafluorethylen (TFE) als dritter Bestandteil hinzu. Die Erh\u00f6hung des Fluorgehaltes im Elastomer bewirkt eine verbesserte chemische Resistenz und thermische Best\u00e4ndigkeit. Der typische Fluoranteil in den Terpolymeren bel\u00e4uft sich auf 67-70Gew%.
