The following patent rights have been revealed so far:
EP1364983: Polymers containing halogens and methods for producing them
The technology makes the access to highly-functionalized halogen and amino- polymers possible, which are processable further in solution. It is feasible to use these functionalized coatings in biotechnology, diagnostics, separation applications, downstream processing and membranes. For example the amino-functionalized polymers can be used for the active transport of carbon dioxide in the membranes during gas separation.
DE10223345: Methods for producing polymer structures with bound transition metals.
A group of new polymers containing phosphorus was developed. The unique thing about these polymers is that because of the attainable density of the precious metal contents (ruthenium, rhodium) of more than 15% are feasible (in comparison to 1% by typical Merrifield-polymers). The polymers make the bridging between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis possible. They are able to be used for interfacial catalysis in solution, in overcritical systems or for the covalent fixation of homogeneous catalysts on carriers.
The patent rights are licensed to Mecadi by the Research Centre in Karlsruhe .
